It's Go Time

2 days til takeoff

Very, very soon, we begin our 6 month trek to the bottom of the world.

This time Wednesday, we'll be on a plane beginning an epic journey of endurance. I tally 59 hours door to door, with a layover, an equator, and an international dateline in the middle. We'll arrive at our new house around 3pm on Saturday, to Mostly Sunny and 72*. All willing, we'll be coherent enough to soak it up.

We're down to the final i dotting and t crossing. Since our house won't be empty, it's a bit of a juggling act of what services to keep and what to cancel.

I'm feeling remarkably calm and put together. A sure sign that something will likely implode.

But one way or another, there's no holding the plane now. Ready or not, here we go...
